1. Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy
Flash Sale: Flash Sale conference passes are fully refundable up to 60 days before Upper Bound 2026.
All Other Tickets: All other tickets are fully refundable for a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase.
Ticket Transfers: Paid tickets are transferable up until April 2, 2026. Complimentary tickets are non-transferable.
All refund and transfer requests must be sent to the email address provided in Section 15.
2. Event Conduct and Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the event. Amii is committed to providing a safe and harassment-free environment for all event participants. We are committed to a diverse, respectful, and safe environment that is free from bullying, discrimination, harassment, intimidation, violence, or threats thereof. Amii reserves the right to remove any individual from the event without a refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, harmful, or in violation of the Code of Conduct. 3. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and presentations at Upper Bound 2026 are the intellectual property of Amii and its respective speakers and sponsors. Unauthorized recording, distribution, or reproduction of any part of the event without express written consent is prohibited.
4. Limitation of Liability
Amii and its affiliates, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property, or for any costs or expenses, arising from participation in or attendance at Upper Bound 2026, except as required by law.
5. Photography and Videography
By attending Upper Bound 2026, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and/or recorded. You grant Amii permission to use your likeness in photographs, videos, or other digital media in connection with promotional and marketing materials without compensation.
6. Children at the Event
Babes in Arms: Children under one (1) year of age ("babes in arms") are permitted to attend the conference free of charge with a parent or guardian.
Children Over One Year: All other children, regardless of age, require a full conference pass to attend.
Content: Please be advised that some conference content is intended for audiences aged 18 and older. Parental discretion is advised.
7. Accessibility
Amii ensures everyone feels welcome and included at Upper Bound. The venue will provide prayer and meditation rooms, nursing or lactation rooms, and accessible seating.
Attendees who require a companion or support worker to assist them at the conference are entitled to a complimentary pass for their companion. The companion pass provides access to the main conference and sessions.
All accommodation requests must be sent to the email address provided in Section 15.
8. Privacy
Amii is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide will be treated in accordance with Amii's Privacy Policy, which can be found at: https://www.amii.ca/privacy-policy.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amii and its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your attendance at Upper Bound 2026 or any breach of these Terms.
10. Waiver of Class Action
You agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with Upper Bound 2026 shall be resolved on an individual basis, without resort to any form of class action.
11. Assumption of Risk
You understand and agree that participation in any event, including Upper Bound 2026, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness, or property damage. You voluntarily assume all such risks and release Amii from any and all liability for such risks.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in a court located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
13. Force Majeure
Amii shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is due to a cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, labour disputes, government orders, or civil disturbances.
14. Changes to the Event
Amii reserves the right to modify the event schedule, speakers, content, or venue at any time.
